    "description": "<h2>Min</h2>USD $34.34/Hr.\n<h2>Max</h2>USD $53.23/Hr.\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Performs radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level for all age groups.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<p>Must be a graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology; must achieve ARRT registration and Illinois State License, must maintain educational requirements for licensure and registration.  </p>\n<p>Must maintain up-dated licensure and registration.  </p>\n<p>Completion of initial and/or annual competencies as specified by Department Manager to fulfill accrediting body requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Environmental Factors</strong></p>\n<p>Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations, above-normal noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances; daily exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions such as radiation and blood/ body fluids.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p>\n<p>Moderate to heavy physical exertion, standing 80% of the time; frequent bending and reaching (80 inches from the floor); occasional lifting and carrying of loads 5 to 75 pounds.</p>\n<p> Must be able to assist average size person (150 pounds) to and from X-ray table, etc., in normal course of work; upon occasion must be able to support average person for approximately two minutes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Mental Demands</strong></p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.</p>\n<p>Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Job Duties</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department policy and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Updates patient examination history files.</li>\n <li>Enters data into computer system.</li>\n <li>Consults with supervisors, Radiologist, or ordering physician as necessary to provide appropriate patient care.</li>\n <li>Understands all interventional procedures and assists physician in a variety of exams.</li>\n <li>Insertion and removal of PICC lines and micro-puncture access.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follows appropriate safety precautions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs visual preventative safety inspections.</li>\n <li>Reports dangerous department or equipment conditions appropriately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists M.D. with AAA Repair and Carotid Stent Device Management. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works with the interventional radiologist to develop protocol and perform procedures for line placement and pain management procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains IDNS license and ARRT registration; remains current on developing trends in diagnostic radiology; participates in continuing education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area; maintains appropriate supply levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Treats patients in professional and respectful manner.</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Demonstrates age-specific competency.</li>\n  <li>Explains procedures.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>",
