    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">AWS Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote – Argentina, Independent Contractor)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to engage with us as an independent contractor supporting client cloud initiatives across a growing portfolio of projects. This is a remote, project‑based engagement open to qualified professionals.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS architectures for client engagements, working collaboratively with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor. You will translate complex business and technical requirements into practical, well‑architected cloud solutions and may contribute hands‑on where appropriate.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a self‑directed, hands‑on architect with deep AWS expertise, strong communication skills, and experience operating successfully in a remote, consulting or contract‑based environment. You should be comfortable managing your own time, deliverables, and technical approach within agreed project scopes and timelines.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive the design and delivery of end-to-end AWS cloud architectures across client engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and best practices.</li>\n<li>Collaborate remotely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define requirements and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions.</li>\n<li>Evaluate and recommend AWS services, tools, and frameworks to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.</li>\n<li>Develop high-quality architectural deliverables, including solution designs, technical documentation, and reusable reference architectures.</li>\n<li>Define and guide cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud-native transformations) based on client needs.</li>\n<li>Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.</li>\n<li>Enable DevOps and CI/CD best practices to improve delivery speed, consistency, and operational excellence.</li>\n<li>Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and performance optimization initiatives for existing AWS environments.</li>\n<li>Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to client and partner teams within the scope of each engagement.</li>\n<li>Continuously evaluate emerging AWS services and cloud-native trends to enhance solution quality and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior AWS Architecture Experience:</li>\n<li>7+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, software engineering, or distributed systems, including 4+ years in a hands on AWS Solutions Architect role delivering production AWS environments.</li>\n<li>Mandatory AWS Certification:</li>\n<li>Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required. No substitutes.</li>\n<li>Proven Architecture Delivery:</li>\n<li>Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and operating highly available, fault tolerant, secure, and scalable AWS architectures supporting business critical workloads.</li>\n<li>Infrastructure as Code Expertise:</li>\n<li>Strong, hands on experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK, with a focus on automation, repeatability, and lifecycle management.</li>\n<li>Comprehensive AWS Knowledge:</li>\n<li>Deep architectural expertise across AWS service domains including compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, observability, containers, and serverless, with the ability to make sound design tradeoffs.</li>\n<li>Modern Application Architectures:</li>\n<li>Practical experience designing and delivering containerized (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and serverless solutions in real-world, production environments.</li>\n<li>Security, Networking &amp; Compliance:</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of AWS security and networking best practices, including experience designing solutions in regulated or compliance driven environments (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).</li>\n<li>Clear Technical Communication:</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce clear architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and communicate complex topics to non technical stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Independent Consulting Capability:</li>\n<li>Demonstrated effectiveness working as an independent contractor in a remote, client facing environment, managing scope, priorities, and delivery with minimal oversight.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Additional AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty, Advanced Networking).</li>\n<li>Experience designing and operating multi account AWS environments using AWS Organizations, SCPs, and governance patterns.</li>\n<li>Hands on experience applying the AWS Well Architected Framework, including conducting Well Architected Reviews and remediation planning.</li>\n<li>Experience with AWS data and analytics services (Redshift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis) and/or machine learning platforms (SageMaker).</li>\n<li>Previous experience in consulting or advisory roles, supporting multiple clients or stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Experience contributing to or leading cloud governance, landing zone, or cloud center of excellence initiatives<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you’re an experienced AWS architect looking for flexible, high-impact consulting work with global teams, we’d love to connect.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
