          "text": "<p><strong>What You'll Do&#xa0;</strong></p><p>As a valued member of our Senior Living team, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel respected, cared for, and at home. Your role will be more than a job - it will be a daily opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.&#xa0;</p><p>As a <strong>Housekeeper</strong> you will:&#xa0;</p><p><strong>1. Resident Room Cleaning</strong></p><ul><li>Perform <strong>daily cleaning of all assigned resident rooms (32 beds)</strong></li><li>Clean and disinfect:<ul><li>High-touch surfaces (bed rails, call bells, switches, handles)</li><li>Bathrooms (toilets, sinks, grab bars)</li></ul></li><li>Dust and clean furniture, vents, and surfaces</li><li>Mop floors using <strong>microfiber system</strong></li><li>Replace waste liners and remove garbage</li></ul><p><strong>2. Infection Prevention &amp; Control (IPAC)</strong></p><ul><li>Follow all IPAC protocols including:<ul><li>Hand hygiene before/after each room</li><li>PPE usage (gloves, gowns, masks as required)</li></ul></li><li>Perform <strong>high-touch cleaning minimum twice daily</strong></li><li>Use <strong>color-coded microfiber system</strong> to prevent cross-contamination</li><li>Follow enhanced cleaning protocols during outbreaks (2–4 hour cycles)</li></ul><p><strong>3. RHA Common Areas</strong></p><p>Responsible for cleaning within assigned home area:</p><ul><li>Dining rooms, lounges, corridors</li><li>Nursing stations and kitchenette areas</li><li>Spa/bathing rooms and equipment</li></ul><p>Tasks include:</p><ul><li>Disinfection of tables, chairs, rails, and touchpoints</li><li>Floor care (mopping, auto-scrub as required)</li><li>Waste removal and odor control</li></ul><p><strong>4. Waste &amp; Environmental Management</strong></p><ul><li>Remove garbage and recycling daily</li><li>Maintain garbage rooms and chute areas</li><li>Prevent buildup of debris and contamination risks</li></ul><p><strong>5. Deep Cleaning Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in scheduled <strong>rotational deep cleaning</strong></li><li>Tasks include:<ul><li>Moving furniture</li><li>Cleaning vents, baseboards, windows</li><li>Deep cleaning bathrooms (tiles, grout)</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>6. Safety &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Identify and report:<ul><li>Maintenance issues</li><li>Safety hazards</li></ul></li><li>Ensure proper chemical handling (WHMIS compliant)</li></ul><p><strong>7. Resident-Centered Care</strong></p><ul><li>Respect for residents’ privacy and dignity</li><li>Communicate professionally with residents and staff</li><li>Maintain a calm, respectful presence in care areas</li></ul>",
