Taking food orders, serving food, stocking front end and maintaining a clean serving line. Will assist in planning, supervising and reviewing the work of subordinates engaged in preparation, cooking, serving food, kitchen maintenance and working the cash register. Must be able to work flexible hours, some nights and weekends will be required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</em></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.</li>\r\n\t<li>Receive and process all payment methods for restaurant guest checks, courteously and efficiently.</li>\r\n\t<li>Settle all guest checks in the computer system and maintain accountability for all financial transactions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain complete knowledge of point-of-sale systems and procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Set up and organize work station with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; maintain cleanliness at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Answer telephone using correct salutation and telephone etiquette.</li>\r\n\t<li>Handle guest complaints with follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform those duties necessary to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and related areas.</li>\r\n\t<li>Operate the cash register and reconcile cash drawer at end of shift.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests/visitors, management and co-workers, to their understanding.
