No Out-of-Country Sponsorship Available.**</b></p><p></p><p><b>PURPOSE OF POSITION:</b> Provide positive, quality care for non-skiing children ages two months to 12 years of age in a safe, organized environment. Maintain state licensing policies and procedures for the Child Care Center. </p><p></p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Feed, change and supervise children ages two months to 12 years; dress/undress them, making sure all personal items are accounted for; change diapers when appropriate </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lift and carry babies and toddlers </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Attend to children&#39;s personal needs </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Record events of the day for each child; discuss them with child&#39;s parents </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assist Supervisors and Leads with various tasks, such as, set up, cleaning, etc. </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p><b>DEER VALLEY RESORT / UTAH STATE REQUIREMENTS:</b> </p><ul><li><p>TB test, fingerprints and complete background check in accordance with state child care licensing </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Training for Utah food handlers permit </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Trained and certified in infant CPR (if applicable) </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Minimum 18 years of age </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>At least 6 months of previous work experience with children in private or child care settings </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Detail-oriented, patient, enjoy working with children, able to remain calm and positive during stressful times and able to write documentation of children’s daily activities for parents </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Able to lift at least 30 lbs., be on your feet six to nine hours a day and withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Able to work in a fast-paced environment </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>DEER VALLEY SKIER SERVICES EXPECTATIONS:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Exemplify a strong work ethic </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Function as a team player </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Interact with members of Skier Services peer group, instructors, agents and supervisors in a positive and professional manner </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Interact positively with other Deer Valley Resort employees </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Communicate any suggestions or concerns to manager in a timely manner </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Speak and act professionally while on duty </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support and follow Deer Valley Resort policies and procedures and Deer Valley Employee Handbook guidelines </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Be a good example to those around you with a positive, supportive attitude </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:</b> </p><ul><li><p>12/03/2026 - 4/19/2027 </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>PAY RATE:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Pay: $20.00 per hour </p></li></ul><p></p><p>Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer. </p>",
