Adesta not only offers engineering, technical, and management expertise of an established systems integrator, we also back our expertise with dependable maintenance support and training.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Adesta, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Locator. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Use electronic locating devices, as-built drawings, maps and/or atlases to accurately mark the location of underground facilities</li>\n <li>Demonstrate familiarity with telecommunications, sewer, water, streetlight, and traffic signal facilities</li>\n <li>Prepare and submit backup documentation for each locate (documentation may include, but is not limited to, daily reports, locate tracking forms, and photos)</li>\n <li>Identify and record discrepancies on as-built drawings, maps, and/or atlases</li>\n <li>Observe active construction work and protect existing facilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) years of technical training or experience with electronic locating devices or telecommunications</li>\n <li>Ability to meet deadlines on multiple assignments/projects and operate with a sense of urgency</li>\n <li>Resolute and focused; able to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project goals</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills, develop positive rapport with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance</li>\n <li>Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days</li>\n <li>Vacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
