    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job summary:</strong></p><p>To provide engineering and development support to ensure the most economical and feasible methods are utilized for each project. &nbsp;Responsible for collaborating with manufacturing, quality and engineering departments in developing appropriate quality and manufacturing practices and documentation to meet and exceed customer expectations.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Consults with Process Engineer and Chief Manufacturing Engineer regarding part quality requirements.</li><li>Assists with work instructions, quality plans and appropriate training documents for manufacturing and quality departments.</li><li>May consult with customer&rsquo;s technical personnel regarding current and upcoming projects or concepts.</li><li>Assists with preparation of accurate cost analysis of projects and forecasts accurate delivery times for quotation process.</li><li>Able to make decisions on new production quotes and expansion of product lines for customers.</li><li>Consult with Chief Manufacturing Engineer to improve throughput, profit margins, and efficiency in manufacturing.</li><li>Works with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to reduce non-conforming material.</li><li>Provide engineering support and input to departments within company.</li><li>Assists manufacturing department in development of processes for production.</li><li>Authority to cease or allow production on parts that do not meet specs.</li><li>Participate in targeting strategic processes and skills, and participate in implementing processes, procedures, and training to accomplish those skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency, and makes recommendations.</li><li>May represent Manufacturing/Management Department on cross-function teams.</li><li>When requested, may work on special projects and various related assignments.</li><li>Performs other related duties and assignments as required.</li></ul><h3>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</h3><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
