We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drives strategic sourcing initiatives and local/regional category strategy across key indirect categories. </li>\n <li>Leads and oversees end-to-end sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution in alignment with Legal, Quality, and Compliance requirements.</li>\n <li>Champions strategic sourcing best practices in collaboration with other Fujifilm Biotechnologies sites, including standardized processes and reporting.</li>\n <li>Supports business stakeholders and various partner functions such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing strategies with operational needs.</li>\n <li>Supports Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) through vendor performance reviews, scorecards, risk assessments, and corrective action plans where applicable.</li>\n <li>Supports ongoing process improvement across S2P lifecycle.</li>\n <li>Identifies, quantifies, and delivers savings and value (cost savings/avoidance, process efficiencies, operational improvements, etc); track results against targets.</li>\n <li>Supports business continuity and risk management, including dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and contingency planning.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements, support audits and documentation readiness.</li>\n <li>Contributes to category strategies led by Global Sourcing and maintain site-specific 1–3 year roadmaps; perform spend analytics, contract lifecycle management, and supplier market analyses.</li>\n <li>Champions change management and stakeholder engagement across sites to enable adoption of Procurement support, tools, and processes.</li>\n <li>Administers company policies such as time off, shift work, and inclement weather that directly impact employees </li>\n <li>Completes required administrative tasks (e.g., timecard approvals, time off approvals, expense reports etc.) </li>\n <li>Coaches and guides direct reports to foster professional development </li>\n <li>Participates in the recruitment process and retention strategies to attract and retain talent, as needed </li>\n <li>Addresses performance gaps, employee questions and concerns, and partners with HR as needed for resolution </li>\n <li>Performs other duties, as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge & Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strategic thinking with operational execution (sit local, think global)</li>\n <li>Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma exposure a plus)</li>\n <li>Collaboration and influence across functions and sites</li>\n <li>Integrity, compliance mindset, and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Demonstrates excellent leadership and people management skills </li>\n <li>Demonstrates excellent technical writing skills, and clear oral and written presentation abilities </li>\n <li>Able to effectively communicate with management, peers, and subordinates </li>\n <li>Displays strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities in parallel </li>\n <li>Demonstrates problem solving skills and instrument/method troubleshooting skills </li>\n <li>Able to work effectively, independently and within a team framework, across all business areas and levels of the organization</li>\n <li>Ability to coach, lead, and develop individual contributors</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of progressive experience Strategic Sourcing, Category Management and/or similar role OR</li>\n <li>Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management and/or similar role.</li>\n <li>Prior management experience. </li>\n <li>Experience running competitive sourcing events and negotiating complex agreements.</li>\n <li>Experience and Familiarity with regulated environments; life sciences/pharma/biotech experience strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience and Proficiency with procurement systems and analytics tools (e.g., SAP/Oracle, Jaggaer/Ariba/Coupa, contract management lifecycle tools, spend analytics).</li>\n <li>Experience in Supplier management and risk mitigation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or Category Management role</li>\n <li>2+ years of direct supervisory experience</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection X No YesMay work in Mechanical/Production spaces that may require hearing protection and enrollment in a hearing conservation program.
