The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting preschool-aged children with special needs to and from school, ensuring their well-being and comfort during the journey.</p><ul><li>Operate a school bus safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Transport preschool-aged children with special needs to and from school on a set schedule</li><li>Assist children with boarding and exiting the bus, including those with mobility devices</li><li>Ensure proper use of safety equipment, including seat belts and wheelchair securements</li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators</li><li>Report any behavioral issues, safety concerns, or mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel</li><li>Participate in required training sessions and safety meetings</li><li>Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts</li><li>Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations</li></ul>",
