Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p></p><p><span><span>The Principal Trainer </span><span>is responsible for</span><span> training end users and developing curriculum on AltaMed technical/clinical systems and applications, including, but not limited to, Ambulatory Electronic Health Records (EMR), Managed Care Referral System, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Interactive Intelligence (ININ), and other technical systems</span><span>.  </span><span>This position </span><span>is responsible for</span><span> the development, validation, and training of workflows for AltaMed staff on new or updated core software products targeting a variety of audiences (Medical Assistants, Nurses, Physicians, Dentists, etc. for Medical and Dental Front/Back Office, Health Information Management, Contact Center and corporate business units). </span><span>Trainers will be responsible for training staff and creating training materials, including, but not limited to: Instructor guides, practice books, user guides, PowerPoints, tip sheets, support guides, and additional supplemental materials.</span><span> The PT will also </span><span>be responsible for</span><span> building and </span><span>maintaining</span><span> the training environment, keeping it up to date with new software upgrades and changes in curriculum or software build. During any clinical system implementation, this position will also </span><span>be responsible for</span><span> completing assigned tasks within the implementation project scope and leading the education efforts for projects assigned to him/her. This position will support end-users in a 1-1 format in the clinic or other healthcare-related environments.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Requirements</b></p><div><ul><li><p><span><span>A bachelor&#39;s degree in </span><span>healthcare, information technology, biological sciences, education, English,</span><span> or communications</span><span> is </span><span>required</span><span>,</span><span> or equivalent work experience.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Minimum of 5</span><span> years of technical training experience with Epic System to clinical staff, including providers, nurses, MAs, etc., and adult training principles </span><span>required</span><span>. Alternatively, 5</span><span> years of </span><span>instruction </span><span>experience </span><span>at a traditional secondary, collegiate, or adult school leve</span><span>l, or </span><span>technical training experience with medical/dental devices,</span><span> or corporate training experience.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A minimum of 5</span><span> years of</span><span> Program/Project </span><span>Management experience </span><span>providing</span><span> </span><span>cross-functional coordination</span><span> is required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A minimum of 5</span><span> years of </span></span><span><span>creating, </span><span>researching, designing/</span><span>writing</span><span>,</span><span> </span><span>or improving training programs or curricula (classroom and virtual)</span><span> is required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A minimum of 3 years of experience rolling out complex training programs to a large population (1500&#43; people) is </span><span>required.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience provid</span><span>ing</span><span> thoughtful analysis toward curriculum development </span><span>is </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience<span> </span>build</span><span>ing</span><span> and </span></span><u><span><span>mai</span><span>ntaining</span></span></u><span><span> collaborative relationships with internal personnel, business owners, and stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience presenting training proposals to stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Epic credentials preferred with current or past organization, and the ability to secure Epic Certification through AltaMed during the first 6</span><span> months of employment</span><span> is </span><span>required.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, as well as SharePoint)</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Preferred experience<span> </span>leading EPIC </span><span>training </span><span>efforts at various stages of go-live and </span><span>stabilizations</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Preferred experience working in a healthcare environment related to </span><span>clinical and business system applications, training, and education</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Informatics certifications or credentialing are a plus.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$88,546.63 - $110,683.29 annually<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
