Responsible for planning and coordinating shipments, as well as overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw and direct materials.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><h3>Production Management</h3><ul><li>Review and execute production schedules to meet operational goals.</li><li>Maximize labor efficiency through effective workforce planning and utilization.</li><li>Adjust staffing levels to meet changing production requirements.</li><li>Develop production schedules based on equipment capabilities and operational constraints.</li><li>Maintain production flow while balancing quality, cost, and output objectives.</li></ul><h3>Quality Assurance</h3><ul><li>Develop, implement, and audit quality control standards and procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Quality Policy Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.</li><li>Verify completion of employee training programs, including review of work instructions and procedures.</li><li>Ensure hands-on training aligns with documented work instructions and quality standards.</li><li>Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process consistency.</li></ul><h3>Safety &amp; Compliance</h3><ul><li>Monitor workforce activities to minimize recordable incidents and lost-time injuries.</li><li>Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and employee safety contacts.</li><li>Investigate and document near misses, accidents, and injuries, implementing corrective action plans when necessary.</li><li>Conduct annual reviews of Right-to-Know (Hazard Communication) materials.</li><li>Maintain high standards of workplace housekeeping and organization.</li></ul><h3>Cost Control</h3><ul><li>Operate efficiently to manage and reduce direct labor and material costs.</li><li>Support and encourage employee-driven cost reduction initiatives.</li><li>Monitor operational performance to improve productivity and profitability.</li></ul><h3>Leadership &amp; Employee Development</h3><ul><li>Consistently and fairly administer company policies and personnel procedures.</li><li>Foster positive employee relations and a strong team-oriented culture.</li><li>Train, coach, and motivate employees to achieve operational excellence.</li><li>Develop workforce skills and support employee growth and advancement.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><h3>Required Skills &amp; Experience</h3><ul><li>Proven supervisory and management experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of building high-performing teams.</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Manufacturing, foundry, or industrial production experience.</li><li>In-plant or hands-on operational training experience.</li><li>Experience with ISO quality systems and compliance standards.</li></ul>",
