Apply today and become part of a team committed to making a difference! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Benefits may vary by employment status </em>  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>How YOU will benefit:</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supportive team with room to work independently</li>\n <li>Ongoing training and career growth</li>\n <li>Advancement opportunities in a growing company</li>\n <li>Referral bonuses</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Pharmacist In Charge you will:   </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.</li>\n <li>Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in key operational areas including scheduling, purchasing, and clinical responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with pharmacy management to implement efficient daily operations and quality improvement or cost containment strategies.</li>\n <li>Provide clinical and technical support to pharmacy and regional staff, fostering a team-based care model.</li>\n <li>Respond promptly and accurately to pharmaceutical inquiries from customers and internal staff, interpreting clinical needs and providing expert advice.</li>\n <li>Maintain comprehensive patient records, including medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications (including OTC and alternative therapies).</li>\n <li>Accurately document all communications with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers in the pharmacy system.</li>\n <li>Secure and maintain necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and corporate policies.</li>\n <li>Enforce safe practices for the procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal of medications and biological products.</li>\n <li>Document all communications and clinical interventions in the patient’s medical record, including interactions with families and caregivers.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support the pharmacy team and patient care goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong>  </p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice</li>\n <li>Demonstrated pharmacy experience</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws and both federal and state regulations related to long-term care</li>\n <li>Familiarity with pharmaceutical care practices for long-term care residents</li>\n <li>Proficiency in computer use, including pharmacy management systems</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)</li>\n <li>Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong organizational and planning skills</li>\n <li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li>\n <li>Goal-oriented and self-motivated</li>\n <li>Proven team player with a collaborative mindset</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service orientation</li>\n <li>Effective oral communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><em>*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day </em> </p>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivers personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams, serving health care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals.
