    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We welcome all to apply, however we have an opening for a Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additionally, we have openings for assistants and/or middle school coaches for boys soccer, cross country, and volleyball.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Job Summary</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Under the general supervision of the Head of School and Principal, and the direct supervision of the Athletic Director, the CCA Coach will teach, train, and coach students in their assigned sport, and support the school in reinforcing day-to-day, Biblically-grounded instruction and discipleship. </span><span style=\"color: #212121\">This individual will serve as a minister of Christ in all activities performed as an employee of Cornerstone Christian Academy/Cornerstone Chapel. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">He/she must have a strong, active, and committed relationship with Jesus Christ, a willingness to lead with a humble heart, a passion for developing students through athletics, and a calling to serve at Cornerstone Christian Academy. While operating within a culture of excellence, CCA involves its student-athletes in interscholastic sports to glorify and honor God with the talents and abilities He has given. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">As a Christian role model for his/her student-athletes, the CCA Coach must exhibit patience, grace, humility, and integrity when working with administration, faculty, students, parents, officials, and opponents.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please Note: We have both middle and high school coaching positions available.</span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">During the application process, you will be asked which sport you are applying for, indicate background of the sport that he/she is coaching</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">A coaching philosophy that aligns with CCA’s mission and vision</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to integrate Biblical truth and worldview into practice plans and other team functions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and tactfully communicate with leadership, peers, faculty, students, parents, volunteers and the external community</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Current possession or willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Technologies</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span collaboratively with CCA Administration to implement and enforce the school’s disciplinary policies, dress code, and standards of behavior</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Create and cultivate a Christ-centered culture within the team through mentorship, discipleship, and leading by example</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Teach the sport’s fundamentals each day of practice </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Use athletics to teach Biblical principles and life lessons </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Adhere to all CCA athletic 15px\">Communicate clearly with student-athletes and parents regarding schedules, transportation, policies/procedures, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Notify parents of student-athlete(s) and the Athletic Director when injuries occur and document appropriately</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assist and work with the Athletic Director on the following:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Establishing the culture of CCA Athletics</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Equipment ordering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Equipment inventory – including handing out, collecting, cleaning, and storing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Game scheduling</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Practice scheduling</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Pre-season and post-season meetings and events</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Collection of forms (physicals, code of conduct, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Facility setup and breakdown</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Facility upkeep and maintenance (as necessary)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Away game itineraries and transportation plans</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Supervise, mentor checks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Carry emergency medical information for each athlete at all activities including practices, games, and team functions</span></li>\n<li><span reports, and paperwork to the Athletic Director in a timely manner </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Promote the program to the students, parents, and community</span></li>\n<li><span teaching colleagues, teachers, administration, and other school personnel to contribute to the positive development of the school environment, learning community, programs, and
