Description
The contractor shall perform on- site document control services for Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) Facilities Management Department. This support will include but is not limited to storing, managing, and tracking important project documents like project plans, blueprints, vendor contracts, drawings, and preparing charts, graphs, and presentations. Performs data entry tasks when project documents need updates including converting paper documents to an electronic format. Organize and maintain Facilities Management Department document filing systems in accordance with Government standards. Analyze document control procedures and report to COR or Facilities Management Department leadership with recommendations for improvement or discussion. Manage the document database and performs self-audits of the document control system to ensure compliance with standards. Review documentation for errors and incomplete information. Use DMLLS software to maintain the organizations documents as required by DHA and NHCP policies.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Document Control Specialist : $
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Document Control Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
The Document Control Specialist will have a minimum of a High School Diploma and 5 years of experience in administrative responsibilities with a primary focus on document management. Extensive knowledge in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and Installation and system access.
The contractor shall perform required duties Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. Contractor personnel shall not work more than 45 hours per week. Subject to prior approval by supported facility POCL s, variations in work schedules are acceptable when the total hours per week are not exceeded and no obligation is incurred that would require contract personnel to be paid overtime.
Document Control Specialist Responsibilities Include:
Basic computer skills and project management system (DMLSS) Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and Installation and system access. Must have experience working in military or civilian hospitals directly interfacing with clinical departments. Knowledge and experience in Medical equipment installations in Healthcare facility settings. Excellent oral and written communication skills Familiarity with environmental, safety, and hospital-specific regulations (e.g., AHA, AIA, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, UBC, UFC, The Joint Commission, Infection Control). General knowledge of hospital facility operations, including design, construction, maintenance, janitorial and grounds services, infection and weed control, and PPE use. Excellent personal computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Maintain a positive professional working relationship with management, co-workers, and customers.
