This position is located in the Minster region.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Task Planning and Implementation:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify that subcontractors meet all health and safety prequalification standards before work commencement.</li>\n<li>Review and approve detailed methodologies, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements, for all construction activities.</li>\n<li>Assist project teams in the creation, review, and maintenance of the Construction Phase Plan, Health and Safety Files, and Project Quality Plans.</li>\n<li>Ensure adequate induction and task-specific training is completed for all site personnel.</li>\n<li>Review statutory plant and equipment training records to ensure compliance.</li>\n<li>Confirm that weekly Toolbox Talks are conducted by site management teams.</li>\n<li>Guide and support the use of task-specific Safe Plans of Action (SPAs) by all project personnel.</li>\n<li>Ensure Inspection &amp; Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans are developed and adhered to.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Coordination and Oversight:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate pre-commencement coordination meetings to align teams on health and safety expectations.</li>\n<li>Actively participate in daily site White Board and coordination meetings, offering guidance as needed.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing support and recommendations to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Engagement and Training:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote Ardmac’s commitment to safety through meaningful engagement, including Safety First conversations.</li>\n<li>Mentor and coach new team members on effective health and safety participation and practices.</li>\n<li>Conduct and document weekly site health, safety, and environmental (HSE) audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Incident Management and Reporting:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigate and document incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.</li>\n<li>Liaise with client representatives and attend meetings to address health and safety concerns.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with site teams to review and improve project-specific safety performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Dip OHS) or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Comprehensive understanding of health and safety best practices in the construction industry.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital health and safety management tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical experience in implementing health and safety protocols in construction environments.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 45001.</li>\n</ul>",
