    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>REPORTS TO</u></strong><strong>:</strong>&nbsp; Engineering Manager</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>PURPOSE</u></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Perform functions to assure dimensional integrity of new and existing elastomeric parts, while maintaining a variety of related reports and records for both the company and customers. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Review and analyze customer blueprints, dimensionals, and/or other drawings of customer components/parts.</li><li>Set up and operate Micro-Vu and other measuring equipment required to perform dimensional inspection and develop reports.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Set-up and perform dimensional inspection of customer supplied components; process and maintain initial sample inspection reports, PPAPs, and material certification requests.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Prepare submission packets including capability studies, process flow diagrams, control plans, gauge repeatability, reliability studies, and failure mode effectiveness reports as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Interface and maintain favorable relationships with customers. &nbsp;Work with customers on accurately measuring elastomeric parts to ensure they meet specifications. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Evaluate SPC areas regarding statistics; perform capability studies and interpret histogram distribution.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Measure products produced from new and revised molds to ensure they meet customer specifications.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Audit and enter data regarding revision levels of active parts and prints.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Work with functional areas of the plant</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Participate in continuous improvement by providing ideas and suggestions that would improve cost-effectiveness, enhance general working conditions, and ensure safe working conditions.</li><li>&nbsp;Track the plant&rsquo;s VOC usage and generate reports.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Maintain the Environmental permits and conduct routine reviews/audits.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Perform other projects/duties as directed by your supervisor.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>ADDITIONAL SKILLS OR CREDENTIALS:</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Two years of related experience (preferred)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Skilled at staying organized, multi-tasking, and planning workload.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Great communication skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret part drawings.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Drafting/CAD experience a plus</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Experience working for a manufacturer of elastomeric materials (preferred)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Associate Degree (preferred)</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>1st Shift",
