On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees.&nbsp;<br />\r\n&nbsp;</span></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><b>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b><br />\r\nPreparation of environmental and industrial hygiene lead samples by Flame-AA (Flame Atomic Absorption) using equipment including analytical balance, fume hoods, hot block, environmental chamber, etc.<br />\r\nPreparation and analysis of environmental samples for metals analysis using approved EPA, ASTM, NIOSH, and OSHA test methodologies<br />\r\nPreparation and digestion of environmental lead samples: caulking, concrete, paint, soil, wipes and air cassettes by Flame-AA (Flame Atomic Absorption)<br />\r\nSupport all sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, and disposal<br />\r\nClean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed<br />\r\nGenerate analytical reports and enter data into LIMS system<br />\r\nPerform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance/Quality Control manual<br />\r\nAdministrative duties including sample login and data entry, scanning and emailing reports and answering phones<br />\r\nMaintain a neat and orderly work area, maintaining supplies<br />\r\nFollow EMSL Safety protocol and guidelines while utilizing PPE as appropriate<br />\r\nCross training in various instrumentation including: XRD, GC, HPLC, GCMS, ICP, ICP-MS, Balance, Mercury FIMS and as required<br />\r\nOther responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager</span></span></span></p>\r\n",
