This role will be primarily general adult medicine with some infectious disease patients. We are flexible regarding full or part time.</em></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ol><li>Specializes in the prevention and treatment of communicable diseases.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures proper disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.&nbsp;</li><li>Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.&nbsp;</li><li>Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.</li><li>Consult with primary care physician</li><li>Documents all services in patient medical record</li><li>Consults with Chief Medical Officer and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues</li><li>Comply with the Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions.
