The role of Field Service Engineer is to manage all field service operations within an assigned field service territory.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Drive to customer locations on a daily basis.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide product testing &amp; investigation and repair of devices at customer location.</span></li>\n <li><span>Electromechanical device installation for field-serviceable equipment.</span></li>\n <li><span>MedNet support.</span></li>\n <li><span>MedNet device configurations.</span></li>\n <li><span>Install MedNet drug libraries as needed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide customer Technical In-Service training.</span></li>\n <li><span>Register Oracle Service Requests via laptop.</span></li>\n <li><span>Implement hardware &amp; software device updates via technical field projects.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide billable (i.e. non-warranty) field repair services.</span></li>\n <li><span>Utilize the Field Service Basic Operating Procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Management of Test Equipment.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain inventory of field spare parts.</span></li>\n <li><span>Proper expensing of all travel costs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must understand wireless connectivity at the configuration level and be familiar with basic troubleshooting methods including wireless encryption.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong cGMP, process and product knowledge.</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Minimum Qualifications, Education &amp; Experience&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Must be at least 18 years of age.</span></li>\n <li><span>High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical vocation. Healthcare background preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Ability to use commercial air travel when necessary.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to travel on short notice.</span></li>\n <li><span>Valid driver’s license.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must own reliable vehicle with sufficient capacity to transport repair tools and equipment to customer sites.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be eligible for the corporate credit card.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to work overtime as needed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be willing to work in a hospital environment, typically a Biomed work area.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must have high level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with electro-mechanical medical devices.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Prolonged standing when installing, repairing or upgrading devices.</span></li>\n <li><span>Typically requires travel 20-50% of the time.</span></li>\n</ul>",
