Explore some of our signature projects. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have demonstrated professional experience in structural engineering and project management, with the leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship skills needed to support a broad portfolio of structural projects. Project types may include building design, transit and rail station improvements, transportation-agency infrastructure projects, water and wastewater facilities, industrial structures, dams, existing structure evaluations, rehabilitation projects, and miscellaneous structural design assignments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage structural design efforts across a variety of projects, including buildings, train stations, transit and rail facilities, transportation infrastructure, water and wastewater structures, industrial structures, dam-related structures, and other facility-related structural systems.</li>\n <li>Serve as overall project manager for multidisciplinary projects, including coordinating scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, client communication, and internal discipline coordination.</li>\n <li>Serve as structural discipline lead on larger multidisciplinary projects where another project manager is responsible for overall project delivery.</li>\n <li>Manage structural engineering tasks for projects involving new design, rehabilitation, repair, retrofit, expansion, and evaluation of existing structures.</li>\n <li>Supervise and mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance, training, coordination support, and quality control reviews.</li>\n <li>Prepare and review construction documents, including plans, details, and technical specifications.</li>\n <li>Conduct reviews of contractor submittals such as shop drawings, RFIs, and substitution requests.</li>\n <li>Perform structural observations on existing and new structures.</li>\n <li>Develop clear, concise, and well-organized technical reports and design documentation.</li>\n <li>Maintain strong working knowledge of building codes, structural design standards, and construction practices.</li>\n <li>Apply advanced knowledge in structural systems including masonry, steel and concrete; familiarity with wood design is considered a plus.</li>\n <li>Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and contributing to proposal preparation and project pursuit efforts.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Maintain a commitment to project schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Proactively identify and solve technical and project management challenges.</li>\n <li>Team player.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p><strong>What you will bring to our firm: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering is required. </li>\n <li>Professional Engineering (PE) license required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 12 years of experience working as a structural design engineer and project manager.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, STAAD, Mathcad, TEDDS and other structural engineering analysis and design related software.</li>\n <li>Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> </p>\n<p>The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000.
