We have an opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant (CNA/ Certified Nursing Assistant) on our Inpatient Unit.  This is a PRN, 12 hour shift position.  The hours are 7PM-7AM with some weekend work assignments.. We can't wait to work with you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Patient Care Assistant (CNA) assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.  This includes but is not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. </li>\n <li>Organizes and prioritizes workload minimizing/eliminating undue delays, blacklogs, or disorder.</li>\n <li>Time management incorporates purposeful rounding; hourly during the day and every 2 hours during the night, anticipating patient and family needs jointly with the RN.</li>\n <li>Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.  </li>\n <li>Monitors the activities of patients and maintains a safe physical and psychosocial environment.</li>\n <li>Able to adapt to changes in workload or patient assignments.</li>\n <li>Assists patients as needed in attending Child Life Activities and special events.</li>\n <li>Ensures patient care areas are neat and clean.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities.
