Description
The E-commerce Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring our website is best in class. Daily, they manage the gathering and uploading of product assets and information, making sure that everything is built and fed properly to the website. They are responsible for updating and maintaining pricing and promotions, ensuring accuracy. They will work closely with the e-commerce, merchandising and marketing teams to achieve top and bottom-line objectives. They will have a hand in determining promotional rotation, pricing structure, and homepage content.
Essential Functions:
• Manages all product creation, merchandising, and product enrichment
• Performs daily website updates, including product content, photo gathering, image upload management and new item builds to optimize conversion rate and average order value (AOV)
• Performs price changes as needed onsite
• Handles requests for ad hoc promo coupon creations for customer service
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement and schedule regular catalog clean-up for all brands
• Assist in defining and updating efficient workflows for tasks involving greater teams
• Partners with stakeholders to develop Homepage, Category, and Listing page content
• Analyzes category performance to evaluate merchandising efforts, product sell through, and opportunities
• Super-user of content management systems (Salsify, Salesforce, Aptos, Cyberduck)
• Optimize online navigation, search results, and product presentation based on analytics (click-path, traffic, AOV, conversion) and A/B testing
• Strategically outlines the promotional strategy and rotation by collection
• Monitors inventory and recognizes gaps in assortment as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• 1+ years’ experience in onsite merchandising
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Demonstrate the organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think both big picture and creatively
• Solution-driven problem solver
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to excellence and full ownership of responsibilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills
