Join us at Sidus Space to be part of something extraordinary and help shape the future of space access!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>As a direct report to the Chief Business &amp; People Officer, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities for the organization.&nbsp;</p><p>This position is expected to be onsite in Cape Canaveral, with some hybrid work permitted.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strategic Planning: Work with the HR executive on strategic HR planning as well as with functional leaders on forecasting future staffing needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Employee Relations: Serve as a mediator for conflict resolution, handle employee complaints, and oversee disciplinary actions.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Risk: Ensure the company adheres to national, state, and local employment laws, reducing legal and reputational risks.</li><li>Compensation &amp; Benefits: Manage health insurance, and annual benefits administration to ensure competitive packages.</li><li>Performance &amp; Development: Oversee performance management frameworks, evaluations, and training programs.</li><li>Culture &amp; Retention: Advise leadership on workforce strategies and develop engagement initiatives to improve employee morale and retention.</li><li>Other duties as assigned**&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or relevant experience in lieu of education&nbsp;</li><li>5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role&nbsp;</li><li>3+ Years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, production methods, coordination of people and resources, and leadership.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications and Technical Skills&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.</li><li>Aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similar compliance-oriented industry experience preferred.</li><li>Commitment to providing the highest quality products and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customer, actively pursuing opportunities for continual improvement of service quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Managing personnel resources by motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, as well as identifying the best people for the job.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with many different teams/individuals to reach a common goal by building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation; maintaining positive and professional relationships; and contributing to a culture of unity.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Sedentary Work &ndash; occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to carry, lift, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
