EHS Coordinator works with managers and employees to establish and maintain a system the promotes a culture of safe working practices across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Review and update health and safety procedures as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Work to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local Government rules, regulations, policies and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, DOT, Fire Department, etc. as well as Company safety rules.</li><li>Develop mechanisms for the improvement of key safety programs</li><li>Assist with safety compliance training.</li><li>Determine regulatory requirements and permitting needs for new and modified process to include air, wastes (hazardous and non-hazardous), storm water and green initiatives.</li><li>Create and implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily</li><li>Conduct and review safety observation reports on a regular basis</li><li>Attend safety walks and inspections before to analyze safety risks</li><li>Lead safety committee and educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation</li><li>Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace</li><li>Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident</li><li>Partner with Human Resources to manage OSHA 300 log</li><li>Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events</li><li>Act as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel</li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned</li></ul>",
