Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods</li>\n <li>Serve and deliver food to residents as required</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned</li>\n <li>Properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage</li>\n <li>Transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents</li>\n <li>Assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area</li>\n <li>Load/operate dishwasher machine</li>\n <li>Ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Must be courteous and friendly at all times</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or longer</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift, push, and pull food carts and other food utility supplies up to 50lbs</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with residents, and staff in a tactful, diplomatic and respectful manner</li>\n <li>Ability to follow all written and verbal instructions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer </p>\n<p>FutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
