    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title</span>: Process Engineer</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department:</span> Engineering and Projects</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to</span>: Engineering Manager</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p>Provide process engineering support for surface production systems design, testing, pre-commissioning and start up.<br>Mentoring of Junior process engineers in the process engineering group, capturing and dissemination of process engineering knowledge.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p>• Evaluate, Optimize and Debottleneck Surface Production Systems<br>• Support the design of Surface Production systems to meet the required throughput Utilizing Simulation Tools.<br>• Check, Review and Approve Process Documentation in assigned Project<br>• Interface with process counterpart in Contractor’s engineering team during the Engineering Phase of projects<br>• Ensure that Process Design is carried out in accordance with internal company standards and in line with national standards, recommended International Standards and best practices.<br>• Evaluation of contractors during prequalification and technical stages of a project and selection of best technical/economical solutions and products for process systems<br>• Co-ordinate activities in the process engineering group and Conduct process engineering in-house reviews for projects.<br>• Promptly notify superior if a design change will lead to cost variation in a project and review requests for variation from contractor relevant to process design.<br>• Make input to cost estimate for projects.<br>• Partake or dispatch engineers for site survey and make input in the initial phases of projects, in design concept selection.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATION</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Engineering degree in Chemical or Process Engineering</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">• Corporate Member NSE/COREN<br>• Corporate Member of Institute of Chemical Engineers ICHEMe (would be an advantage)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil &amp; Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities<br>• At least 3 years of experience and proven track record in hydrocarbons processing studies, process simulation and project development<br>• At least 2 years relevant and related experience in design and operation of high H2S or CO2 content facilities with stringent HSE requirements</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required knowledge, technical or professional skills</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge:<br><br>• Simulating Multiphase Flow for Dynamic Modes<br>• Parameters for evaluating and Selection of Design Concepts<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills:<br><br>• Simulating Multiphase/Hydraulic Flow for Steady State Modes.<br>• Simulating Transient Processes.<br>• Developing Conceptual and Detailed Design,<br>• Developing Process &amp; Utility Engineering Flow schemes,<br>• Selecting and Specifying Process Equipment.<br>• Defining Process System Operating Envelope.<br>• Specifying Process Control and Measurement Philosophies and requirements<br>• Specifying Process Safeguarding Philosophies and requirements.<br>• Provision of Process Eng Support for Plant Start-up and Testing.<br>• Provision of Process, Plant and Pipeline system Performance Evaluation &amp; Monitoring,<br>• Optimising Process, Plant and Pipeline system Performance &amp; De-bottlenecking</span></p>",
