    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate initiative in analyzing and solving problems.</li>\n<li>Proficiently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild all system failures on mobile and stationary equipment.</li>\n<li>Safely perform all essential functions.</li>\n<li>Generate report of parts necessary and time required to complete project.</li>\n<li>Operate equipment which may or may not require a commercial drivers license for diagnosing and testing purposes.</li>\n<li>Perform cleanup at end of day or when job is completed including cleaning tools and putting tools in proper storage.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate diplomatic proactive communication with Leaders and Equipment Operators concerning equipment and job-related projects.</li>\n<li>Use welding and flame-cutting equipment to perform welding duties.</li>\n<li>Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.</li>\n<li>Frequently work more than 40 hours per week. Occasionally work non-traditional hours including Saturdays.</li>\n<li>Regular travel to regional job sites is required.</li>\n<li>May require periodic travel and overnight stay outside of region.</li>\n<li>Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge &amp; Abilities </span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Methods, materials, tools and equipment used in repairing and maintaining mobile equipment.</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills.</li>\n<li>Construction operations.</li>\n<li>Caterpillar Equipment</li>\n<li>Operate tools and equipment used to repair equipment.</li>\n<li>Take and follow instructions.</li>\n<li>Ability to learn and follow RCI Company policies.</li>\n<li>Ability to function independently with minimal guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license for state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers.</li>\n<li>Must possess complete set of tools.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in troubleshooting techniques.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in hydraulic principles and systems.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in fundamentals of engines.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in power and drive train principles.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in machine electronics.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in cutting and welding processes.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in fuel systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prefer completion of Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology program from an accredited vocational or technical school.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work with fuel and other petroleum products.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.</li>\n<li>Ability to climb on and off equipment safely.</li>\n<li>Ability to bend, kneel, or squat to reach repair areas.</li>\n<li>Ability to work in shop or field environments with exposure to dust, welding fumes, exhaust vapors, noise, confined spaces, and inclement weather conditions.</li>\n<li>Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.</li>\n</ul>",
