We serve a worldwide customer base and supply many diverse market segments. If it has an engine, we will probably supply a camshaft for that application. We service heavy duty on and off-road markets, marine and recreational vehicles, light duty trucks, passenger cars, motorcycles, auxiliary power units, racing and high-performance vehicles, and large high horsepower applications for large ships, locomotives, mining equipment and power generation. Excellent customer relationships with some of the best known, globally recognized engine manufacturers, together with talented and dedicated staff, have allowed Engine Power Components to grow from a small operation founded in 1979, to one of the leading camshaft suppliers in the world today.</p><p><strong>As Advanced Operator, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate assigned machining equipment to safely produce the appropriate number of correct parts in a timely manner according to process documentation.</li><li>Measure parts using common measuring tools and appropriate process documentation. &nbsp; Deliver a correct part within appropriate print or documented standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform operator level maintenance on assigned equipment to eliminate unscheduled downtime.</li><li>Verify stock at all points in the process to ensure correct material, work in process and work processes.</li><li>Assist in resolving machining process, maintenance, and programming issues.</li><li>Correctly setup jobs in a safe and timely manner. &nbsp;This includes but is not limited to determining tooling requirements and control settings, loading control media, or retrieving instructions, set machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow. &nbsp; Use SMED and Poka Yoke practices.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Common Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Achieve measurable results.</li><li>Satisfy the internal customer.</li><li>Execute the quality system requirements.</li><li>Train other associates</li><li>Complete all tasks in a safe manner complying with all organization safety policies, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Perform all work onsite at the EPC facility. &nbsp;Regular attendance is required.</li><li>Demonstrate initiative. &nbsp;Take action upon identifying any situation outside EPC standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain process vision in area and with process flow. &nbsp;Identify and change the course of events in advance to prevent safety, quality, delivery, and process issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Execute workstation and area 5S tasks.</li><li>Present a good, professional example to the team. &nbsp;Strive to be the better person.&nbsp;</li><li>Comply with all EPC policy, procedure, and practice.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Experience for an ideal Advanced Operator candidate include:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>3-5 years of prior experience in the essential duties listed above.</li><li>Specific knowledge of CNC programming, machine setup and process trouble shooting techniques.</li><li>Working knowledge of measurement and measuring tools.</li><li>Blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of GD&amp;T standards.</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills to internal communication standards.</li><li>Good software skills, including experience with MS Office products.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Machining environment. &nbsp;Work includes regular lifting, stooping, bending, reaching or grasping.</li><li>Lift up to 60 pounds regularly</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about manufacturing and the potential to make an amazing difference, we would love to speak with you.
