Love your job.</strong></p><p>Texas Instruments is seeking&nbsp;an IT Network Engineer to plan, architect, design, budget and implement LAN, Wireless and WAN network solutions for its Manufacturing and Enterprise locations, across multiple platforms and protocols to support TI's business needs.&nbsp; The engineer will also participate in day-to-day operations support as needed.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Gathering customer and system connectivity requirements used as inputs into building resilient network solutions.</li><li>Coordinating with stakeholders/suppliers/vendors, both internal and external, to ensure on-time project delivery.</li><li>Ownership of factory, design, datacenter and sales office network documentation and plans for their area(s) of the infrastructure.</li><li>Collaborating to develop technology roadmaps, considering business ne eds and in alignment to overall IT strategies.</li><li>Supporting and troubleshooting network faults&nbsp;during break/fix activities and events.</li><li>Periodic review of network capacity, usage and health metrics for respective area(s) of responsibility to plan for upgrades or performance adjustments.</li><li>Collaborating with other IT groups to understand the future requirements for network capacity at TI's locations.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we will look for:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.</li><li>Engineering and architecture skills necessary to interpret&nbsp;business&nbsp;requirements and needs to deliver new network solutions.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.</li><li>Demonstrated strong interpersonal, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to take the initiative and drive for results&nbsp;requiring little day-to-day direction.</li><li>Strong technical background in network operations and business engagements in a highly complex global enterprise.</li><li>Strong&nbsp;prioritization,&nbsp;time management&nbsp;and negotiation skills&nbsp;that enable on-time project delivery.</li><li>Ability to travel and provide after-hours and/or weekend support duties as scheduled or deemed necessary during implementation of network engineering projects.</li><li>Experience in working effectively with globally diverse cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience with following suppliers - Cisco LAN &amp; WAN, Arista LAN &amp; WAN,&nbsp;Aruba Wireless.</li><li>Ability to understand, diagnose and quickly fix complex network infrastructure issues across TI.</li><li>Deep understanding of routing protocols, OSPF &amp; BGP, and how they are deployed in large corporate environments.</li></ul>",
