Description As a growing engineering-driven manufacturing company, we serve the top customers in the Defense, Industrial, Transportation and other diverse industries. Our customers want only the best and that starts with us! The successful candidate, working as part of a team, will support customer needs as follows. Responsible for Hutchinson Aerospace & Industry customers by processing incoming customer orders request for quotations and providing follow-up information. The Customer Service Account Specialist answers inquiries regarding existing and new orders, provides price and delivery information and processes RMAs. Responsibilities: Act as the customers’ liaison, responsible for all customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing, assuring delivery in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Review customer contracts to ensure order requirements are fulfilled. Interface with all functional groups and field sales to proactively monitor customer delivery. Work closely with planners to ensure on-time delivery. Provide customers with product and pricing information, including the preparation of quotes. Maintain accurate information using ERP, EDI, E-Commerce, and other business systems in support of customer service activities. Monitor customer websites to obtain supplier scorecard information and product demand. Proactively investigate and resolve customer problems and complaints. Keep the operations team, Market Managers, and Customer Service Manager informed of issues that may need further assistance for resolution. Act as backup for other team members. Represent the company at customer visits. Qualifications and Skills: Associate's degree or equivalent preferred Defense or related industry experience preferred 2-5 years of experience in customer service, ideally in a manufacturing environment Excellent communication, judgment, and influence skills via phone, email, written, and face-to-face. Polished customer service and presentation skills. Well organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Experienced with a computerized ERP system/EDI/Internet. Ability to work and problem-solve in a team environment. Applicants must be U.S citizens or permanent residents eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, as required by contract and/or federal law.
