Description

About Ratio Therapeutics Ratio Therapeutics is committed to improving and extending the lives of cancer patients without sacrificing their quality of life. We are a team of passionate scientists, engineers, and business professionals dedicated to advancing the field of targeted radioligand therapy.  To accomplish this, we utilize our proprietary TRILLIUM™ and MACROPA™ platforms:  TRILLIUM™ allows fine-tuning of radioligand pharmacokinetics thereby enhancing the therapeutic index, while MACROPA™ simplifies the manufacturing process for the alpha-emitting isotope, actinium-225. These enabling platform technologies have resulted in an emergent pipeline of novel therapeutic candidates. We are looking for talented, dedicated, and creative individuals eager to help us advance these technologies from discovery research through clinical development. Join us in our quest to become the leading innovator in radioligand therapy and improve the lives of cancer patients and their families. About the Position Ratio is seeking a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate, Translational Pharmacology bench scientist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will execute biochemical and pharmacological assays to characterize reference and internal compounds. This role includes work in a laboratory environment involving research animals and radioactive materials, with appropriate training, safety protocols, and support provided. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities: Execute translational pharmacology assays for compound evaluation, characterization and optimization. Conduct ex vivo tissue experiments including histology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and radiolabeled tissue analysis to characterize biodistribution. Execute non-invasive in vivo pharmacology studies in cell line-derived xenograft models to include systemic dosing via intravenous and sub-cutaneous routes. Support mammalian cell culture efforts and cell-based assays to advance discovery programs where required. Maintain, troubleshoot, and evolve laboratory protocols and workflows. Participate in daily lab operations—reagent tracking, ordering, and equipment upkeep. Analyze, interpret, and present data clearly to internal teams. Continue learning in radiopharmaceutical therapy and cancer biology. Work collaboratively within and across teams in a complex, matrix environment. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills to leverage teamwork in creating innovative solutions and achieving common goals. Continually learn and deepen expertise in radiopharmaceutical therapies and cancer biology. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology, cancer biology, pathology, or a related field 0-5+ years of experience Strong foundation in in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo techniques (hands-on research experience preferred) but core competency in in vitro cell biology, in vivo pharmacology, or in vitro pathology is also considered. Experience using radioactivity in laboratory assays is a plus but not required as training will be provided. Ability to communicate candidly and openly. The annual base salary for this role is expected to range between $68,000.00 and $90,000.00. This range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, work experience, skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
