Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care for the Medical-Surgical Outpatient and/or Inpatients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedure through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescents, adults and older adults. Communicates with physicians, co-workers and/or nursing director, as appropriate about the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatololgy. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Works with other departments to provide a continuum of care and co-workers to provide continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization. Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures. Responsible for participation in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and Work Experience</p>\n<li>Current and valid state RN License.</li>\n<li>Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.</li>\n<li>ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.</li>\n<li>Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or G.I. lab.</li>\n<li>Completed Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days upon hire required.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Chino Valley Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $43.25 to $59.37.
