Operate and maintain MIG/TIG welding equipment for carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum welding. Communicate with work order requestors (engineers/managers) to define goals and ensure alignment on objectives and functionality of prototypes. Ensures quality of work prior to completing work order action closures. Assist in training team and engineering department members utilizing existing SOP’s (Standard operating procedures) and assist in creating new procedures as required. Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as required. Operate or learn to operate shop equipment including bandsaws, lathe, mill, drill press, shear with growth opportunity to operate advanced equipment such as CNC.
