This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives working outdoors, embraces challenging work, and wants to contribute to infrastructure projects that shape and strengthen our communities across BC.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Your Key Responsibilities</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Loading and transporting equipment through urban communities.</span></li>\n<li><span>Load and deliver gravels through urban communities.</span></li>\n<li><span>Safely operate in accordance with company and WorkSafeBC standards.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct daily inspections on machines prior to use.</span></li>\n<li><span>Participate in daily/weekly site meetings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Your Qualifications &amp; Skills</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Valid Canadian class one driver’s license with a clean abstract required.</span></li>\n<li>Experience with dump trucks and/or lowbed's.</li>\n<li><span>Civil Construction experience. </span></li>\n<li><span>Experience operating heavy equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span>Positive attitude and strong work ethic.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent punctuality and attendance.</span></li>\n<li><span>Flexible and willing to assist with tasks beyond machinery duties when needed.</span></li>\n<li><span>Level 2 or 3 First Aid Training an asset.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Local candidates preferred. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What We Offer</span></span></p>\n<p><span>The chance to be part of landmark projects that shape communities across British Columbia, while building your career with a company that’s been trusted for over 85 years.
