BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required. . &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>3. <u>Job Knowledge</u>: Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associated, patients, and visitors.&nbsp;</p><p>4. <u>Safety Sensitive</u>: <strong>YES</strong></p><p>In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as &ldquo;safety sensitive.&rdquo; A &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>DESCRIPTION:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>A certified therapist who is responsible for respiratory care given in any area of the hospital including special care units. May be assigned supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.</p><p>Physical Effort: Maintains good physical well being. Job requires walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment and wheelchairs, and occasional lifting of patients.&nbsp;</p><p>Mental Effort: Maintains good emotional well being.
