    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUMMARY&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Produces three dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.&nbsp;</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Always maintains professional attitude when taking on Stats and fitting in a patient when needed.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Selects equipment for use in ultrasound setup according to specifications of examination. Completes patient questionnaires and asks pertinent questions about patient&rsquo;s medical history. Required to verify guest&rsquo;s identification for every examination.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Explains process to patient, and instructs and assists patient in assuming physical position for examination. Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to organ to be examined, depth of field, and other specifications of test. Moves transducer, by hand, over specified area of body and observes sound wave display screen to monitor quality of ultrasonic pattern produced. Starts equipment which produces images of internal organs and records diagnostic data on a PACS system.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Photographs images of organs shown on display module to obtain permanent record of internal examination. Must be able to clearly and accurately write up cases correlating with the collected images, and be able to discuss those findings with the radiologists. Drug/Crash Cart - must be able to identify and know the uses of the items in the crash cart and possess the ability to assist the Radiologist during a drug reaction/emergency in a calm and efficient manner.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">CPR - annual certification and OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen - annual update.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Must be knowledgeable in the fundamentals and comfortable in the everyday use of PAC&#39;s, Power scribe, Document Scanning and Management Pages and possess the general computer skills required to complete the tasks at hand. Must also have the ability to print films and burn CD&#39;s.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Will be responsible for the maintaining and obtaining the appropriate certifications required and continue to stay current on any and all continuing education. Responsible for registering in all areas of ultrasound performed at RMI including, but not limited to, ABD, OB/GYN, VASCULAR, and BREAST registries.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><strong>SUPPORTS MISSION, VISION AND VALUES OF THE CORPORATION.&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
