    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>All About Arconic</strong>:&nbsp; Arconic is currently in search of a&nbsp;<strong>Mechanical Engineer</strong>&nbsp;to join our Global Rolled Products Operations business unit in Lancaster, PA.&nbsp; Arconic Lancaster has been a leader in the aluminum manufacturing industry and a strong community partner for over 75 years.</span></p><p><span>The&nbsp;<strong>Mechanical Engineer</strong>&nbsp;will provide reliability improvements to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan by providing support to production department to achieve plant goals.&nbsp; The position reports directly to the Operations Superintendent but has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Engineering department on project work.</span></p><p><span>At our 1.3 million square-foot plant, we produce a variety of products--from painted aluminum sheet to blanked aluminum products. What we produce here is found in a wide assortment of end products, such as truck cabs, cookware, and construction materials. We also produce brazing sheet used by auto manufacturers to make evaporator and condenser components.&nbsp; Over 400 customers use our product for a variety of consumer goods.</span></p><p><span><strong><u>Safety</u> </strong>is our number one value.&nbsp; We will provide you with all the PPE and training you need to perform your job as safe as possible.</span></p><p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:72px;\"><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .75in;\">Provide engineering services to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan by providing engineering support to production, maintenance and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .75in;\">Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations and related bid meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project close-out.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .75in;\">Assist production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective, particularly in the incumbent’s specialized area involving mechanical equipment and related systems.</p></li></ul>",
