These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Production Associate|Manteno, IL|HIRING IMMEDIATELY</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Do you have experience with basic manufacturing principles (Will be standing for long periods, fast-paced movement, read a tape measure, basic computer and math skills) We can train you on the rest!  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>$21.33 an hour (</strong><strong>Paid Weekly)*</strong><strong>$1.50 shift differential</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Available Shift:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>2nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:15pm <strong>(Monday-Friday)  </strong></strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Follows all plant safety policies & procedures</p>\n<p>· Participates in safety programs</p>\n<p>· Reads production schedule, work instructions, or customer specifications to determine product specifications.</p>\n<p>· Attaches specified chuck to spindle.</p>\n<p>· Moves controls and stops to set rotation speeds.</p>\n<p>· Lifts chuck using hoist or lift table and positions and secures it in spindle.</p>\n<p>· Starts machine, and moves controls to adjust positions and movements during machine operation.</p>\n<p>· Verifies conformance of finished product to specifications.</p>\n<p>· Decides on station and timing of each operation to assure efficient use of tools and time.</p>\n<p>· Computes such data as shipping pounds, WIP pounds, and scrap pounds.</p>\n<p>· Sets up changeovers for sheet width and roll widths.</p>\n<p>· Insures correct tools and resources are used to complete any job</p>\n<p>· Performs lockout procedures when required and insures procedures are followed correctly.</p>\n<p>· Insure proper cleaning of coater and process equipment as needed/required.</p>\n<p>· Insure the cleanliness of area from end of tenter to back of winders to maintain a safe and efficient work area.</p>\n<p>· Insures production reports are written neatly, timely, and accurately.</p>\n<p>· Insures roll handling and packaging is optimal and meets specifications.</p>\n<p>· Insure any and all defects in the sheet are reported to the operator.</p>\n<p>· Communicate effectively with OPS Operator.</p>\n<p>· Member of the production help chain.</p>\n<p>· Assists in PMs.</p>\n<p>· Operates a walkie.</p>\n<p>· Assists with web breaks / start ups / grinding / etc.</p>\n<p>· Other tasks as assigned by management</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>· High School Diploma or GED.</p>\n<p>· Read a tape measure</p>\n<p>· Intermediate math skills</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
