You’ll be exposed to the full product lifecycle and supported as you grow your technical capability within a fast-paced product development environment.<br><br></p>\n<p>If you’re excited by embedded systems, enjoy solving real-world problems, and want to see your work ship in products used at the highest level of sport, this role will suit you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What you’ll be doing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the design and development of embedded firmware for STATSports products</li>\n<li>Delivering assigned firmware work packages on time and in line with quality, cost, and specification requirements</li>\n<li>Working closely with hardware and software teams to ensure firmware integrates smoothly with production designs</li>\n<li>Contributing to efficient, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing through well-designed firmware</li>\n<li>Assisting in the creation of validation test procedures, field diagnostics, and quality-of-service checks</li>\n<li>Participating in hardware and firmware debugging within complex embedded systems</li>\n<li>Supporting firmware documentation, design reviews, and validation alongside hardware counterparts</li>\n<li>Following QA processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives</li>\n<li>Working to agreed deadlines while demonstrating attention to detail, quality, and innovation</li>\n<li>Supporting firmware schedules and estimates in collaboration with senior engineers and the PMO<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for:</span></p>\n<p>You’ll likely enjoy this role if you:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold a degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Electrical, Computer, or Software discipline preferred)</li>\n<li>Have 1–2 years’ experience in an embedded or technical engineering role within a product development environment</li>\n<li>Have experience developing firmware in C and/or C++ (RTOS exposure is a bonus)</li>\n<li>Are familiar with ARM microcontrollers</li>\n<li>Have worked with interfaces such as Bluetooth, UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, Ethernet, RS232, or RS422</li>\n<li>Understand embedded fundamentals, including timers, PWM, ADC, DAC, DMA, and interrupts</li>\n<li>Are comfortable using IDEs such as Eclipse, Keil, or IAR</li>\n<li>Have some experience with real-time debugging tools and techniques</li>\n<li>Are familiar with collaborative tools like GIT and JIRA</li>\n<li>Communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Nice to have (but not essential):</span></p>\n<p>Experience working in structured project environments, contributing to cross-functional teams, or supporting formal project delivery is a bonus, but not required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">What’s in it for you:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A hands-on firmware role contributing to products used in elite sport worldwide</li>\n<li>Exposure to the full embedded product lifecycle, from development through production</li>\n<li>The opportunity to learn from experienced firmware, hardware, and software engineers</li>\n<li>A collaborative environment that values learning, quality, and continuous improvement</li>\n<li>The chance to grow your technical skills while working on cutting-edge wearable technology</li>\n<li>Real visibility of your work in products used by athletes at the very top of their game</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you enjoy building embedded systems and want your work to have a visible impact in sport, we’d love to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equal opportunity employer:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>STATSports is an equal opportunity employer.
