    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.37.26/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.37.26/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">If you are looking for a one day a week position and love to help people - this is a great opportunity! &nbsp;We need a bus driver for Fridays, 8:30 am - 5 pm and to fill in for vacations or time off for our FT Driver. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">8 hours/week. &nbsp;Must have: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License with Chauffeur&rsquo;s License (Class D) permit.</span></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Transportation Driver&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br><strong>Supervised by: Tanya List, Director of Therapy/Transportation</strong></p><p><strong>Purpose of the Position</strong></p><p>To provide transportation to meet the needs of Springvale Independent Living (SIL), Springvale Assisted Living (SAL), Long Term Care(LTC) and the Humboldt County community during daily business operations, weekday 8:30a.m. &ndash; 5:00p.m. This position will reasonably meet the transportation needs for individual scheduled appointments, group shopping, personal requested trips, and senior living group activities off campus. To help maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment with equipment in working order in accordance with the Federal, State, and local regulations that govern Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Follows a daily schedule of appointments made by consumer via the HCMH Therapy Registration team and carries it out to meet the resident&rsquo;s needs.</li><li>Completes errands on time for all areas of campus, as needed. Example: Lab deliveries or maintenance pickups in Fort Dodge&nbsp;</li><li>Assists SIL, SAL and LTC with shopping needs, as needed.</li><li>Effectively communicates with residents, co-workers, and Supervisors to ensure schedules are accurate for transporting consumers.</li><li>Clean and vacuum the interiors and ensure that all specialized equipment, such as wheelchair lifts, is in proper working order. Transportation driver will also wash and polish the outside of the bus to keep it clean and attractive. They may take the bus to a mechanic for routine maintenance or when the specialized wheelchair equipment doesn&#39;t function properly.</li><li>Able to collect and calculate transportation fares and vouchers from consumers.</li><li>Can safely detach the wheelchair security device, lower the patient out of the bus using the lift, and wheel the patient to his/her destination.&nbsp;</li><li>Completes in-service training and MedTrainer courses in a timely manner.</li><li>Responsible for keeping&nbsp;active Chauffeur&rsquo;s&nbsp;License&nbsp;(class&nbsp;D)&nbsp;license by following all DOT requirements.</li><li>Performs various ground keeping and maintenance tasks/repairs as requested.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of a patient centered model of service delivery supporting the mission, vision, and values of Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.</li><li>Certified in First Aid and CPR&nbsp;</li><li>Abide by HCMH Standards of Behaviors and Key Service Behaviors.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment.</li><li>Proficiency in writing and communicating with other team members.</li><li>Accountability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Ability to deliver excellent customer service and public relations. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to be tactful in resolving customer service concerns and situations.</li><li>Ability to be flexible with scheduling and assignments.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Education: &nbsp;Level of education to communicate effectively. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License with Chauffeur&rsquo;s License (Class D) permit</li><li>Working in aging related environments experience preferred, but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves during work hours.</li><li>Willing to work beyond normal working hours, and on weekends and holidays when necessary.</li><li>Should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Mental Demands</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Subject to frequent interruptions.</li><li>May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset consumers, families and visitors.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p></div></div></div>\n",
