    "requisitionDescription": "<h2 data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"191\" data-pasted=\"true\">Job Summary</h2><p data-start=\"192\" data-end=\"526\">The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machine tools to produce high-quality machined parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works from engineering drawings and CAD data to manufacture precision components while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.</p><h2 data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"627\">Responsibilities</h2><ul><li data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"792\">Manufacture parts with CNC machines using industry-standard CNC machining techniques and practices while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.</li><li data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"868\">Plan machining jobs from work schedules, engineering drawings, and CAD.</li><li data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"942\">Program new parts and modify existing parts using Mazatrol as needed.</li><li data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"1068\">Work independently or with other Machine Shop staff to determine work holding, tool holding, and tools required for jobs.</li><li data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1135\">Assemble tools and toolholders and set them using a presetter.</li><li data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1189\">Design and manufacture fixtures and work holding.</li><li data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1293\">Anticipate tooling and material needs, check inventory, and place orders with supervisor as needed.</li><li data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1397\">Manufacture parts using conventional machining equipment (manual machines, saws, etc.) as required.</li><li data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1473\">Maintain and update manufacturing information as per company directive.</li><li data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1556\">Maintain safe operations in compliance with safety procedures and regulations.</li><li data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1758\">Perform equipment preventative maintenance according to manufacturer&rsquo;s and Penske Racing&rsquo;s requirements. When necessary, repair equipment and test operation to ensure functionality and performance.</li><li data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1847\">Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly according to Penske Racing standards.</li><li data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1930\">Arrive on time for scheduled work and work overtime and weekends as necessary.</li><li data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"2143\">Take ownership and be personally accountable for your work. Be dependable and professional, act with integrity, work effectively with others, take initiative, and be willing to apply new knowledge and skills.</li><li data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2181\">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2 data-start=\"2183\" data-end=\"2209\">Qualifications</h2><ul><li data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2383\">High school machining program and/or post-secondary technical school training with earned diploma, certificate, or degree in a machining discipline is highly preferred.</li><li data-start=\"2387\" data-end=\"2505\">Minimum of 1 year experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a prototyping or low-volume/high-mix environment.</li><li data-start=\"2509\" data-end=\"2547\">Mazak Mazatrol experience is a plus.</li><li data-start=\"2551\" data-end=\"2705\">Ability to independently set up, prove out, and run CNC machines; edit EIA programs; assemble and set CNC tooling; and manufacture workholding fixtures.</li><li data-start=\"2709\" data-end=\"2799\">Qualified and experienced with precision measuring instruments, both digital and analog.</li><li data-start=\"2803\" data-end=\"2949\">Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications with a working knowledge of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T) system.</li><li data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"3054\">Knowledge of work holding, tool holding, and tooling equipment used in a CNC machining environment.</li><li data-start=\"3058\" data-end=\"3086\">Above-average math skills.</li><li data-start=\"3090\" data-end=\"3114\">Basic computer skills.</li><li data-start=\"3119\" data-end=\"3150\">Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li data-start=\"3155\" data-end=\"3266\">Ability to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events with a positive and constructive attitude.</li><li data-start=\"3271\" data-end=\"3363\">Willingness and ability to work flexible hours due to changing work schedules and demands.</li><li data-start=\"3368\" data-end=\"3451\">Strong English communication skills (oral and written) as they relate to the job.</li><li data-start=\"3456\" data-end=\"3556\">Ability to produce parts to deadlines that are accurate to the print and finished with high quality.</li></ul>\n",
