As a <strong>Municipal Engineer / Technologist</strong>, you will contribute directly to the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway systems that support resilient, sustainable communities.</p><p>This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and seeing their designs come to life in the field.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Apply sound engineering judgement to the <strong>technical design and delivery</strong> of municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure.</li><li>Prepare and review <strong>engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports</strong> in accordance with municipal and provincial standards.</li><li>Support projects through <strong>detailed design and construction administration</strong>, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Conduct <strong>technical analysis and calculations</strong> for civil systems, including water distribution, sanitary sewers, stormwater management, and roadworks.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and specialists across regional and national teams to deliver integrated solutions.</li><li>Contribute to field reviews, inspections, and coordination with contractors during construction.</li><li>Support knowledge sharing and provide technical guidance to junior staff as part of a collaborative team environment.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Diploma or degree in <strong>Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology</strong>.</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or C.E.T. designation, or eligibility to obtain, is considered an asset.</li><li><strong>5–8 years of hands‑on technical experience</strong> in municipal infrastructure design and delivery.</li><li>Strong technical proficiency in <strong>water supply, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and roadway design</strong>.</li><li>Experience working within <strong>Manitoba’s municipal engineering environment</strong>, including applicable codes, standards, and regulations.</li><li>Working knowledge of civil design software and tools used for municipal infrastructure projects.</li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents with a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Bilingual (French and English) communication skills are an asset.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>Why Choose WSP?
