    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Actual compensation for this role is commensurate with experience, skill set, and other qualifications.</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>East Cambridge Savings Bank&rsquo;s Loan Servicing Department is actively recruiting for a <strong>Loan Servicer. &nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Function</strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>Under the general supervision of the Assistant Manager-Loan Servicing, performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in connection with the servicing of paid consumer, commercial and mortgage loans.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>We are looking for a candidate with:</strong></p><ul><li>1 &ndash; 3 years banking experience, loan servicing experience a plus</li><li>Working knowledge of COCC a plus&nbsp;</li><li>Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Job</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Functions</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for computing, preparing and providing loan payoff figures to attorneys and borrowers. &nbsp;Logs paid loan information into Loan Registers.</li><li>Processes transactions, pertaining to payments and general ledgers; resolves payment discrepancies as needed by contacting borrowers by phone or letter in accordance with procedures or as instructed by management.</li><li>Establishes and monitors daily automatic payment reports for external ACH reporting and internal PATS reporting. &nbsp;Corrects any returns through system maintenance and contacts borrowers. &nbsp;Reviews daily Unapplied Funds Report and processes transactions as necessary.</li><li>Processes loan discharges for paid off loans; researches and processes confirmatory discharges for borrower/attorney. &nbsp;Responsible for the retention of paid loan files.</li><li>Records legal documents. &nbsp;</li><li>Processes all Loan Servicing returned mail and borrower requests for address and name changes, and other related records changes.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for attaining predetermined sales goals on a monthly/annual basis in accordance with the Bank&rsquo;s Customer Service Standards.</li><li>Collects and distributes departmental mail on a daily basis.</li><li>Assists in all tasks related to the tracking and monitoring of hazard and flood insurance.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Supportive Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs related loan servicing tasks and special projects as may be required or assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Contact our Human Resources Division or visit <a href=\"https://www.ecsb.com/about-us/careers\">https://www.ecsb.com/about-us/careers</a> for more details and to apply.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Or submit your resume to:</p><p>Email: [email protected] Fax: 617-252-6877 Phone: 617-354-7700</p><p>&nbsp;East Cambridge Savings Bank, Attn: Human Resources</p><p>344 Cambridge Street Cambridge, MA 02141</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>East Cambridge Savings Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</em></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
