    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "Job Description \n<p></p>\n<p>Coordinates intra-department and intra-hospital transfers, ensuring continuity of all necessary communication between departments.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>1.Assigns and facilitates patient bed assignments according to hospital patient aggregation.<br>\n  2.Accepts phone calls from attending physician offices for direct admissions&nbsp;<br>\n  Reviews specific orders that may impact bed placement (i.e.: one-on-one&nbsp;<br>\n  constant observation, telemetry needs, pending lab specimens, admit orders for medicine teams).<br>\n  3.Collects data for Zone alerts (admissions, discharges, bed demands/availability status of surge units, etc.).<br>\n  4.Collates data from Teletracking to provide information needed for daily bed meeting template.<br>\n  5.Escalates bed management problems to a registered nurse.<br>\n  6.Obtains and records necessary information regarding expirations to ensure accuracy and timely preparation of death certificates.<br>\n  7.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are&nbsp;<br>\n  considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
