This position will be hands-on; requiring the Engineer to program, debug and troubleshoot said equipment with the goal of putting machinery into customer facilities.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Key Job Responsibilities</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Programming of modern PLC/PAC devices using IEC61131-3 compliant languages</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Integration of I/O systems using industrial automation fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT, ModbusTCP, IO-Link, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Integration of Variable Frequency Drives, machine vision, safety, and other pieces of equipment using the above protocols</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Incorporate sensors for detection, flow, pressure, etc. into the machine program using I/O systems utilizing the above protocols</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with HMI development team to develop operator interface screens the interaction with the PLC.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of schematic diagrams of electrical systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot equipment using electrical multi-meters and other testing devices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work as part of a cross-functional team including Engineers and Scientists to create the desired product outcomes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate as an active member of cross-functional teams;
