In this client-facing leadership role, you will work closely with our team of managers and associates to implement accounting, tax, and business planning strategies for clients.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Your primary responsibilities will include:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing client engagements and honoring commitments, leading to work being completed on time, on-budget, and meeting our high-quality standards, resulting in highly satisfied clients.</li>\n<li>Managing files, including setting project budgets, planning project activities, monitoring progress by staff, and reviewing projects for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n<li>Solving dynamic accounting and tax questions and problems.</li>\n<li>Mentoring and managing your team – lead by example and direct staff on engagement priorities.</li>\n<li>Acting as the day-to-day client relationship manager.</li>\n<li>Reviewing financial statements and corresponding tax returns for select clients.</li>\n<li>Preparing submissions for CRA.</li>\n<li>Supporting the marketing of our organization to existing and potential clients, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Required Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate university degree</li>\n<li>CPA designation</li>\n<li>5+ years of public practice experience, working on reviews and compilations for a variety of clients. Audit experience is an asset.</li>\n<li>1+ years of experience managing a team</li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of ASPE, ASNPO and generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques</li>\n<li>Ability to research and analyze financial statement and audit-related issues</li>\n<li>Ability to provide accounting insights to clients in a clear and concise manner, including insights into complex accounting issues.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with the issues and challenges faced by small-to-medium sized businesses</li>\n<li>Independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter</li>\n<li>Multi-tasker and can manage multiple clients simultaneously</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – – and commitment to maintaining an open, transparent dialogue with colleagues and clients</li>\n<li>Effective relationship-builder – we want our clients and your direct reports to enjoy working with you!</li>\n<li>‘One Team’ mindset – openness to collaborate with all colleagues and bring positive energy to the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Annual Salary Range:</span><span> </span>$85,000 – $115,000</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Are you ready to take your career to new heights?
