In conjunction with the CentraCare Infection Prevention and Control Program, the Infection Prevention RN assists in the coordination of surveillance of data and prevention and control of infection. Uses multiple sources to aid in the collection and analysis of surveillance data. Provides supportive data to the Infection Control Committee, when applicable. Assists in the application of epidemiological principles and appropriate. Provides patient/resident and family centered care. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Supports and implements patient/resident safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
