As a green-field role, this individual must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently, represent the company professionally in a new market, and serve as a foundational leader as the Houston division grows.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></u></p><p><strong>Residential HVAC Service &amp; Diagnostics</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces</li><li>Accurately identify root causes of system failures and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions</li><li>Perform service calls with a high level of technical competence, efficiency, and professionalism</li><li>Ensure all work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes</li></ul><p><strong>Sales, Repairs, and System Replacement Consulting</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as a selling technician capable of presenting repair, upgrade, and replacement options directly to homeowners</li><li>Conduct in-home consultations using good, better, best solution frameworks</li><li>Identify opportunities for full system replacement based on system age, condition, and performance</li><li>Build, present, and close estimates for repairs, upgrades, and system replacements</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership &amp; Houston Market Development</strong></p><ul><li>Develop into the lead technician for the Houston location, setting standards for quality and professionalism</li><li>Support onboarding, training, and mentorship of newly hired technicians</li><li>Provide field-level supervision and technical support to other technicians</li><li>Act as a liaison between field operations and company leadership</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Working with Corporate leadership and departmental support (CSR, Dispatch, Residential Changeout department) Manage service routes, schedules, and priorities independently</li><li>Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory (with assistance from corporate warehouse leadership) to company standards</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and leadership</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of residential HVAC service experience with strong diagnostic capability</li><li>Ability to work nights and weekends as needed</li><li>Proven experience selling repairs, upgrades, and system replacements</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated self-starter mentality with leadership aptitude</li><li>Valid EPA section 608 Certification and applicable HVAC licenses preferred</li><li>TLDR registration</li><li>Comfort using CRM systems such as Service Titan</li><li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record</li></ul>",
