    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><div><div><p>Fortinet is calling for an experienced Principal Software Developer who can think outside the box, has a logical approach to coding, and is looking to grow their career in the network security industry.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and maintain software components on current and future products.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Hardware bring up and SDK porting<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Hands on in bug fixing current products.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Implement software features of high quality and on schedule.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.</p><p>Job Requirements:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum of 8 years of experience in networking related software development.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong C experience in embedded Unix/Linux environment is essential.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience programming in U-boot, Linux driver.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in Hardware bring up, SDK porting<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in router, network device<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Good verbal and written communication and teamwork for cross team collaboration.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;Quick learning ability, adaptability, and curiosity about new technology.</p><p>Education Requirement:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred</p><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$200,000.
