(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead in the growth and coordination of LiRo-Hill’s Transportation Engineering practice encompassing bridge, highway, rail, and traffic engineering services <strong>within the greater NY metropolitan area</strong></li>\n <li>Oversee the performance of a wide range of civil/structural engineering, analysis, planning, and design tasks related to capital improvement projects related to transportation systems and horizontal structures</li>\n <li>Supervise the performance of condition assessments, load ratings, design plans, and specifications for the repair and/or reconstruction of horizontal structures and related facilities including but not limited to: bridges, culverts, transit stations, piers, waterfront structures, etc.</li>\n <li>Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills in the execution and oversight of projects that range from small rehabilitations to large scale new construction</li>\n <li>Mentor, train, and develop local engineering and CAD/BIM staff.</li>\n <li>Lead the preparation of technical and cost proposals in the pursuit of new work</li>\n <li>Attend local industry and business development functions</li>\n <li>Coordinate staffing needs, project financial performance, and performance reviews for the local staff</li>\n <li>Perform financial projections/updates on a monthly and quarterly basis based on company reporting standards</li>\n <li>Aid in the coordination and development and periodic update of the transportation engineering practice’s design and drafting standards</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with the local transportation agencies, authorities, and city/state level clients</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree a plus</li>\n <li>15+ years’ experience in Civil/Structural Engineering </li>\n <li>NY PE required</li>\n <li>Strong leadership qualities and mentor-ship skills</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to technical staff</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of code requirements</li>\n <li>Experience in using various structural analysis software</li>\n <li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills </li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Total Compensation Package</li>\n <li>Employee- Only Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Mentoring programs</li>\n <li>Continuing Education Program</li>\n <li>Employee referral bonus</li>\n <li>Volunteer/Industry association opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
